  • Improve content & UX via aggregated analytics. (Consent where required; otherwise legitimate interests with safeguards)
  • Communicate with you (e.g., send newsletters or replies to inquiries). (Consent or contract, depending on context)

4) Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, preferences, and analytics. Non‑essential cookies (e.g., marketing/retargeting) are off by default unless you opt in. You can manage preferences via the Cookie Preferences link in the footer. See the full Cookie Policy.

5) Analytics, email, hosting, and processors

We use service providers to run the blog. They process data on our behalf under contracts that include confidentiality and data protection obligations. Typical providers include:

  • Hosting & CDN: AWS (e.g., CloudFront) — site delivery, security, and reliability.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — aggregated usage reporting; IP anonymization features where supported.
  • Email delivery/forms: ZeptoMail or similar — sending newsletters and responding to contact requests.
  • Error monitoring & logging (if used): helps us fix bugs and protect the site.

A current list of core providers can be requested at legal@hirepanther.com. Providers may change as we improve the blog.

6) How we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers (processors) who help us operate the blog.
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, privacy, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers: if we undergo a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, relevant data may transfer under appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not allow third parties to collect personal information on our site for their own direct marketing without your consent.

7) International transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own (e.g., the United States). When doing so, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where required, and technical measures like IP truncation and access controls.

8) Data retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Subscriptions & communications: retained until you unsubscribe or your request is resolved, plus a reasonable period for audit and legal compliance.
  • Analytics data: retained in aggregated form per provider defaults (typically 14–26 months) unless configured otherwise.
  • Server logs & security records: short‑term operational retention unless needed to investigate security incidents.

When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or de‑identify data.

9) Your choices and rights

  • Consent management: toggle non‑essential cookies via Cookie Preferences.
  • Email opt‑out: unsubscribe links are included in newsletters/updates.
  • Do Not Track / GPC: where technically feasible, we treat Global Privacy Control signals as an opt‑out of non‑essential cookies.
  • Access & correction: you may request a copy of your personal information and ask us to correct inaccuracies.
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal or operational constraints (e.g., security logs).
  • Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise rights, email legal@hirepanther.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.

The blog is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

11) Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS, access controls, and least‑privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
